Rockefeller Archaeological Museum is situated immediately behind the wall of Old Town near Herod's Gate. At a time when Britain ruled Palestine, I have several times visited the museum to admire one of the best collections of antiquities discovered in the Holy Land. When Jerusalem was under the control of Jordan (1948-1967), the museum kept the majority found by the time the Dead Sea manuscripts. After the Six Day War (1967), the museum also serves as headquarters of the Israeli Department of Antiquities.

After his return from Jordan, I immediately contacted the Rockefeller Museum in Jerusalem, which is now located in Israel, and asked about the frescoes from Tel Hassula. The answer looked like this: what are the fresco? In the absence of the chief curator of the museum was not even able to understand what I asked. I was advised to contact the Albright Institute.
I contacted the Institute of Archaeological Studies W. F. Albright, named in honor of the great archaeologist, studied the Bible lands. In trying to help me, they contacted the various agencies, and finally had the answer: try to contact the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Jerusalem, because they entrusted to the Vatican excavations. Feeling that fell on the trail of frescoes, I asked the tour of our expeditions, "Visions Travel amp; Tours" from Los Angeles to organize a trip to Jerusalem.
Once I was able to contact the head of the Pontifical Institute in Jerusalem, I learned that they actually kept part of the frescos, but their was so bad that they were sent for restoration in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. I have been told that directs restoration work Mrs Osnat Brendl, and I immediately wrote to her. After returning from leave, she said to me that the delivery of artifacts really discussed, but that they had not yet been sent for restoration.
In designing the route the expedition in Israel, I had a lively correspondence exchanged faxes and phone calls from various organizations. In the Pontifical Biblical Institute, I was told that the institution is closed for summer recess and that the only person who knows something about the frescoes, Falco's father, left for a year in the Jesuit College in California. I managed to find it in Mormonskom University of Los Angeles. In the long fax of 29 August 1997, he informed me that "fresco from Tel Hassula are located in the attic storage in wooden boxes with glass lids," and "smaller fragments are stored in a cupboard." He wrote that it is dependent on Jerusalem, and that Crocker's father met us at the Institute and the fresco show.
